Carroll Citizens for Sensible Growth in Dillsburg, PA is fighting a Wal-Mart proposal to build a 174,000 square foot store on environmentally sensitive land that includes 20 acres of wetlands. Carroll Citizens have succeeded in keeping the project at the Planning Commission level for four years, but are concerned that the local Board of Supervisors could succumb to legal pressures despite huge negative impacts if the flawed proposal should ever pass the Planning Commission.
