This wasn’t tainted blood, it was unsterillized medical equipment!  And you missed the correlation to CHOICES not the flu.  You adhere to the philosophy that people are where they are at due to poor choices.  The only poor choice these individuals made was to have routine procedures at a VA Hospital (economicallly responsible choice) instead of at a regular clinic or hospital.  My question is how is their now very real, and very unfortunate medical condition THEIR fault?  What poor decision did they make?  To lump everyone into one category (those less fortunate are where they are at because of poor choices) you would have to include these people too.  Like I said, not everything is black and white.
