That’s sick.  No wonder Wal-Mart has such a horrible reputation.

I wish this poor women good luck in her quest for justice.

I feel so badly for Beavers, but I am not suprised since we are talking about Wal-Mart. The unsympathetic and illogical nature of the termination of Molly Beavers sheds light on the way Wal-Mart treats most of its associates. Not only was the nature of her termination shameful but her experiences as an associate at Sam’s Club before she left are troubling as well: “Beavers filed a workers’ compensation claim. Sam’s Club did not process the claim nor pay for treatment, the federal complaint states. Although Beavers recovered, back problems lingered. When she asked to sit on a stool while working, her manager would not allow it, the lawsuit states.” I hope her participation in the lawsuit proves successful. Wal-Mart needs to start treating its employees with more respect.

To all the bashers out there...I have been an hourly WM employee for just over two yrs.  I have health insurance, have fun at work every day, buy stock from my paycheck, and I bought a house at age 24.  How is all that possible?  I don’t buy things I don’t need.  If money’s tight I do whatever I have to(odd jobs, etc.) to make ends meet.  I gues the bottom line is, I do something instead of complain about it.  You guys should try it some time.
