I don’t understand the above two posts, however what I don’t understand is this:  doesn’t the SEIU also have many members who are independent and also might vote republican?  If so and I am sure you have many such in your union.  Then why does SEIU take their unions dues and spend about $3,000,000.00 or more on promoting Obama?
